Olivia Harper is doing well for herself. She has a job she is really good at and she has even started her own company, helping small companies with their social media. When a traumatic event changes her life in Seattle, it's at the same time she gets a call to return home to California to help her mother. Olivia left Cape Sanctuary and didn't want to return. But it seems now, she doesn't have a choice, she has to go back and face the demons she left behind and confront the past that is before her. As she is there taking care of her mother and trying to figure out why her niece now hates her, lots of secrets come to the surface. Will Olivia be able to make it through her short time in Cape Sanctuary and return to her home in Seattle?

After losing her father and her sister, Olivia's mother didn't have much time and energy left for Olivia. Especially after having to take over the family business and raise her granddaughter, Juliet was happy that Olivia was able to take care of herself and did so well in school. But often she regretted how she handled herself during those times, though she was doing the best she could.

This was the second book that I have read by RaeAnny Thayne. I would describe it as a romance with a dramatic flair to go with it. With secrets and lies hiding in the corners, you never know what is going to happen next. Toward the end, the book got to be a bit predictable, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story as a whole.

Jo is pretty content in her life, but when she meets Big South, all of that changes. Working for Beju Park she is sent to his hotel room to deliver a piece of jewelry that he had commissioned. When Big South met Jo, there was something about her that he found irresistible. She was mean, but it didn't bother him at all, he had to have her. Jo wasn't sure if she wanted a life with Big South, but Everett McClain, was one good looking and thoughtful man. Will they be able to make it through his fame and her past in order to have a future together?

I read this book on recommendation from a Facebook group. It reminded me of Zane books that I read in my early 20's. It was ratchet and I was all for it. I loved the narrators of this novel. The male made me want to jump into the book and see him in real life.

Jo is just a single mother trying to make it after a crazy divorce. Everett "Big South" McClain has had his share of hurt as well, and finds love when he least expects it. I can say one thing, this book had me and my man doing a few more things in the bedroom after reading it. Got me all hot and bothered. I loved listening to this book. This is the first book I've read by Alexandria House and it won't be my last. This is a good author to read when you fall into a reading slump. She is sure to bring you right on out of it.

Recommended for those who like romance with a little ratchet!

When I finished Losing Princeton Charming, I had to immediately start reading this book. Losing left me with such a cliff hanger, I had to see what was going to happen next.

Forever Princeton Charming starts with Charlie being in the hospital after a car accident. She thinks her best friend may have something to do with the accident, but that can't be right. Together she and Spencer are determined to find out who could of tried to hurt Charlie and why. They have had so much backlash against their relationship already, this last thing is just the icing on the cake.

I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series from start to finish. These last two books had me crying and laughing.

Trying to maintain a relationship when it seems the whole world against you is next to impossible. But when you love someone, you try your best to defeat the odds and go for what you want. Charlie and Spencer are no exception. Their families don't want them together, their friends don't want them together and society dictates that because they come from two different socioeconomic classes they shouldn't be together. You can't help who you fall in love with and who is going to make you the best version of yourself no matter what life throws at you.

I think Charlie and Spencer did what they had to do in order to be together. Forget the haters and naysayers. If you like a romance series with ups and downs and twists and turns, I suggest you go and pick up the Princeton Charming series right away. These books are sure to leave you with all kinds of emotions.

Raya Liston is at a turning point in her life. She has just graduated high school and college is the next step. She thinks she knows what she wants to do, but not exactly sure. Together with her cousin Anandi, she travels to an ashram where her grandmother had visited as a youth and then again a few years before she died. She told the girls that she had left something for them there and they were determined to find it. What else would Raya find there? Most than she ever expected.

I decided to get this book after hearing about it on a morning talk show. I'm not really familiar with Rachel Roy as a designer except for seeing her on Project Runway a few years ago. I like reading about different cultures and learning things I may never discover because I doubt I will ever visit. I don't know anything about Indian culture or Hinduism. I didn't know that there were 96 words for love in Sanskrit. 96 Words for Love is a YA novel that gave me all kinds of emotions. There are multiple love stories spanning generations. And not just physical love, but love of religion, love of music, love of teaching, love of family and friendships. Dealing with that strange adjustment period after high school, and the feeling of knowing you have found the things you were searching for even those you didn't intend to find.
