Josh and Gemma Make a Baby

Gemma's life is just about perfect. She has a great job she loves, she has a supportive, meddling family, and she has just started to date a nice guy. But there is one thing she wants, that she may never be able to have, a baby. For medical reasons, she is unable to conceive and is finally ready to find out if motherhood is a possibility or not. Se doesn't want a random sperm donor, so she decides on her brother's best friend Josh Lewenthal. She doesn't want or need a relationship with him, she just wants his sperm.

Thanks to Swift & Lewis and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen and review this book.

This was a good Rom-Com. I could totally see this as a movie. Taking place in NYC and the suburbs, this book has everything you could want. The overly supportive mother, the long standing crush on the brother's best friend., the "perfect" older sister, friends in the same boat, an asshole boss, and the nosy coworker.

Overall this was a good book. This is the first I've read by this author, but I think I will read another. This one made me laugh and cry a bit as well. If you're a rom-com fan, you will definitely enjoy this book.

Review: Ethic by Ashley Antoinette

Ethic by Ashley Antoinette
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ethic

Ethic is a heartbroken man. He called in the hit that took the life of his love. Now he is raising his own children along with his love's sister, Morgan. Morgan wants to live the same life her sister did. Ethic is trying to move on from that life and keep Morgan far away from it. But it's in her blood and she just can't stay away. Being he is not her father, it's hard to keep her reigned in. Will he be able to keep both her and his own children safe and stay out of the life that has hurt him so badly?

I really enjoyed Moth to a Flame and I couldn't wait to read more of Ethic's story. This book will grab at your heartstrings and play a sad song.

I have only read a few of Ashley Antoinette's books, but I have enjoyed them. They grab your attention right from the beginning and won't let you go until the very end. Whether you listen to the book or read it, you are sure to be swept up in the story.

After reading this I immediately went to Ethic 2. I might finish the entire series before long.
