**I highly recommend that you listen to this book on audio.**

Barack Obama, our 44th President of the United States, gives a personal look at his first four years in office. Listening to him speak about his days leading up to becoming President through his first term, made me like him even more. He feels like someone we all would know and could sit and talk to about our day. He talks about playing spades on Air Force One, sneaking cigarettes, and working out with Michelle in the mornings. He shared his fears and accomplishments but was still humble. He talked about how his family dealt with his Presidency and fame. He could no longer just take his daughters to a museum or the zoo without people following and the Secret Service.

I really enjoyed this book, holding it though, gave me carpal tunnel. I look forward to the next volume. 

Here's a funny story about this book.  About a week before Christmas, my hold for this became available at the library.  My husband saw me listening to it and told me to stop.  He's not a reader and he frequently tells me to find something else to do besides reading.  So, I was skeptical of him telling me this.  Well, my daughter got me a copy of the book for Christmas.  The book weighs a ton, so I continued to listen to the audio and followed along.

Benjamin Casper has been asked by a friend of his to put some surveillance cameras up in her apartment. Shortly after he leaves her building a body is thrown from her balcony. Everyone says it's his friend, Diana and that she committed suicide, but Ben is not convinced. Trying to figure out what is really going on with Diana and what she was up to is not going to be easy. Will Ben be able to find the answers before he loses his own life? Set in the heart of our Nation's Capital, Ben fights for his life to find out the truth about Diana.

This book was just okay for me. It held my attention, but I didn't find myself dying to read it during my down time. At some parts of the book, it felt like a dog chasing its tail.

Ben believes that Diana is his friend. When he attends her funeral back in her home of Wisconsin, he's not so sure. No one knows who he is and they sure as hell don't know who Diana is, at least who she really is, but does Ben. On the quest to find out if his friend is really dead, he will lose more friends along the way. Too many people end up dead and the reason is all really kind of crazy.

This was not one of my favorite James Patterson books.  I know this review is short, but there wasn't must to go on without giving away the book.  If you like James Patterson then you should read this book, if not, then I would say find another.  So many books, so little time.

Thank you to the author for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I enjoyed this book so much, I also purchased a copy from Amazon.

Mac Ambrose just wants to start living a normal life, but getting away from the CIA is not an easy task. Asked by one of her closest friends to investigate a leaked sex tape of a U.S. Senator, Mac is reluctant to take the case. When she finds something not quite fitting the description of what she was looking for, she regrets her decision to take this case on. The Senator isn't telling the whole truth about this tape and now that Mac is involved, she has to find out why.

Mac Ambrose seems like the kind of woman we all could be friends with. She cares about those who are close to her and those she works with But, don't cross her because you don't want to be on her bad side. The thing I liked most about this boo is how quickly it drew me in It was a hard bookk to put down and a book I would recommend firsts to all of my female friends. Mac Ambrose will make you fell empowered and in fact, she does make another female in the book feel empowered.

There were a few twists and turns in the book that made you wonder what was going to happen next. I would have given the book five stars, but there were a few times when there were new characters introduced that I had to go back to figure out who they were and how they fit into the story. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and I look forward to see what will happen to Mac next.
