Audio Book Review: The Guilty by David Baldacci

The Guilty (Will Robie #4) by David Baldacci
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Published: November 2015
The Guilty (Will Robie, #4)

Will Robie has just completed a mission when he finds out that his father has been arrested for murder. Instead of stopping his work then and there, he decides to go on the next mission available, but he is is not successful. Is it because of the details of the previous mission or because of the news that he received that he is unable to complete the mission. Ordered to take some time off, he heads back to Cantrell, Mississippi to find out what is really going on with his father. But when you haven't been back to a place without any word in nearly 20 years, it's not so easy to find the answers you're looking for. Is Will able to find out who is really to blame for the murder and will he be able to mend the relationship with his father.

The Will Robie series was one of the first ones I listened to when I got hooked on audio books. The books transport you into the story and it makes you feel like you are right there. Not all audio books have the ability to do that. If you're thinking about getting into audio books, this is a great place to start.

Will Robie and his partner, Jessica Riel work for a secret organization with three initials. Which three initials, no one ever knows. Their missions usually end in someone's death. Will hasn't been back to Mississippi since he graduated college. He cut all ties to that place the moment he left. But when he gets word about his father being in jail, he has to go back and find out why, since this news seems uncharacteristic of his father. Will finds out a lot of interesting things on his trip back home. Things he wasn't expecting to find out. But, can he save his father from the jail cell, or will his father stay there to protect someone else?

Love David Baldacci books and this one is highly recommended.
